Prof. Mammo Muchie is in Bocconi University, Milan, Italy on a secondment to carry out the research on 'Catching Up Along The Global Value Chain' (Catch/Chain EU Horizon 2020).

He met distinguished Prof. Franco Malerba, the originator of the concept of 'Sectoral System of Innovation' and Dr. Roberto Mavillas who is directing the EU Horizon 2020 Cat/Chain research project.

DST-NRF SARChI Chair of Tshwane University of Technology is the partner (Principal Investigator Prof. Muchie) from South Africa.
