Biography of Professor Mammo Muchie, The AUSC Presidency's Special Advisor Since August 2016 During the 6th Commonwealth Summer School 2016 at the University of Rwanda in Kigali RWANDA organized by the Association of the Commonwealth Universities:
Professor Mammo Muchie holds a PhD in Science, Technology, and Innovation for Development (STI&D) from the University of Sussex. UK. He is currently a DST/NRF rated Research Professor at the Faculty of Management Sciences, Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa. He is a fellow of the South African Academy of Sciences and the African Academy of Sciences. He is also currently adjunct Professor at the Adama Science, Technology University, Arsi University, Addis Ababa University and University of Gondar, Ethiopia. He has been senior research associate at the SPMTDC programme and also has become Senior Research Associate at the TMD Centre of Oxford University. He is collaborating with researchers (DILIC) on the potential research areas of Africa-China industrial high-technology sectors. He has been invited as Associate Faculty professor at Sussex University, UK for the next three years; at the University of Economics in Prague as visiting professor, Jawarahal Nehru University India, Tonji and Shanghai University, China; Honorary Professor Jiaxing University, China, Assistant Professor Amsterdam University, Visiting Professor Carleton College, USA; Principal Lecturer, Middlesex University, Professor, Aalborg University; Part–time Lecturer, Cambridge University; Honorary Professor UNISA. Professor Mammo held various positions globally, including the Director of the Research Programme on Civil Society and African Integration at the then University of Kwa Zulu-Natal; board member at the North Western University, Chengdu, China. He is currently the chairman of the advisory board of African Talent hub of the Community Interest Company (registration no.10461990) to raise funds for making Africa the talent, innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity and knowledge hub of the world. He has been appointed by the Office of the President of AUSC as special distinguished advisor to the Presidency of the Africa Union Students' Council(AUSC)"For The Better Africa We Deserve" and a mentor for the African Entrepreneurship award. He has initiated the African Unity for Renaissance and Knowledge Exchange series of conferences since the last six years. He is a founding scientific advisor to ´the African Solar network, founding chairman of the Network of Ethiopian scholars. He has lead the SIDA, Sweden funded research on engineering design and on transformative innovation for African integrated development and educate on public media to speed up the creation of innovative and renascent Africa. He is also a co-founding member of the Nano Technology Institute in TUT leading the innovation side of the research.
He is a founding board member of Globelics, focusing research on the challenges of building African innovation systems. He has promoted Africa and highlighted African Innovation and Development in Globelics foundation. He has served as scientific board members in a variety of networks including ICAT, Medalics as part of the founding scientific board member of the network that connects North Africa, with the Middle East and Southern Europe, co-founder of the Africalics network. He taught over 400 doctoral candidates in doctoral academies across the world in the Globelics, Africalics, Cicalics, Indialics networks. He has taken major initiatives for running Doctoral and Masters Academy in various universities in Africa and all over the world. One such academy is recently organised by the Association of Common Wealth Universities. Also, he has been invited for many keynote addresses and lectures in Africa and world-wide.
Perhaps one of the most significant contributions to promote the emerging field on innovation studies in Africa was the South African research Chairs Initiative (SARChI). The first chair on Innovation Studies supported by the DST/NRF in South Africa was awarded to him to promote doctoral and post-doctoral research in Africa.
Prof. Mammo is the chief editor and in the editorial board of many scholarly international journals. His positions in the scholarly journals are as follows; Founder Editor- in- Chief: African Journal of Science, Technology, Innovation and Development, Taylor and Francis; Founder Chief editor, The Ethiopian Electronic Journal for Research & Innovation Foresight (Ee-JRIF); Editor, Journal of Agriculture and Economic Development, Founder Editor in chief of the new journal of Creativity, Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship; Editor: Journal of Development and Agricultural Economics, Academic Journals; Editor: Innovation and Development, Taylor and Francis; Editorial Board member of The Nexus Innovation Journal, Tshwane University of Technology; Institute and Economics (Formally Known as International Journal of Institution and Economics), University of Malaya; Ethiopian Journal of Business and Economics (The), African Journals Online; Journal of Social and Economic Development: Official Publication of Institute for Social and Economic Change; Journal of China and International Relations (CIR) , Aalborg University; Politikon: South African Journal of Political Studies, Taylor and Francis; Financial Innovation, Springer; Social Epistemology, A Journal of Knowledge, Culture and Policy, Taylor and Francis.
He has been a scientific and academic advisor to the local e-Governance research that involved ten African countries on ICT&D funded by IDRC and managed by CAFRAD. He has been appointed as a consultant on UNESCO’s higher education, Research and Knowledge forum. He has served as a post-doctoral mentor in the NRF national postdoctoral Forum.
He has published in the areas of: international political economy, development economics of innovation and the making of African systems of innovation, and new technologies and development across disciplines. Since 1985, he has produced over 375 publications, including books, chapters in books, and articles in internationally accredited journals and entries in institutional publications.

I invite you to become the AUSC Presidency's Special Advisor for ASIDF, ASICTB  and ASIDB from today on Friday  March 31st, 2017 and as you have been my special Advisor from the 6th Association of the Commonwealth Universities ' Commonwealth Summer School In August, 2016 at University of Rwanda.

Invitation is extended to AUSC Leaders , members, Partners, friends (ALL).

\therefore, for any AUSC National Office Representative that wants to contribute by mobilizing your AUSC Members to obtain ASIDF International Membership Subscription on National Level in the ASIDF International Board you are advised to collect Initial Funds from your AUSC Members and request to the AUSC President's Office for your National AUSC Sub account named "ASIDF+Your Country Name"  with  ECOBANK National Branch in Your Country on which you will be able to deposit all available funds ,donations and contributions provided by your AUSC Members, partners and Friends, a regular fund raising is recommended and must be report back to the AUSC President's Office  .

Every AUSC National Office must be able to support the AUSC International Action Plan 2016-2019 and its broad activities as mentioned on the AUSC Intentional Action Plan 2016-2019 .

Therefore every AUSC National Office will have to manage its National AUSC Sub account named ASIDF + your Country Name.

The basic transfer to the AUSC International Sub account Named ASIDF International Bank Account to be opened in ECOBANK Rwanda following the Official Launching of the African Union Students' Council (AUSC)  International Bank Account in ECOBANK today, will be opened from 3rd April, 2017, and AUSC National Offices will therefore be able to start any Transfer.
However, from April 3rd, 2017 every AUSC National Office Representative will have to make effort and fund raise at least 120USD to be transferred on the ASIDF International Bank Account , due to the extent of this 2nd period detailed activities of the AUSC International Action Plan 2016-2019.

Every AUSC Leader from the Presidential Team to the School Club level who wishes to contribute to the AUSC International Action Plan 2016-2019 must at least fund raise 10USD and submit it to the AUSC National Office Representative not later than April 30th ,2017 for ASIDF purpose only.
All other AUSC Leaders, active members, partners, friends and advisors wishing to become shareholders of the ASIDF individually including AUSC Diaspora Representatives, all  will have to specify which category among the three ASIDF Categories they will join and submit the required amounts before April 30th, 2017.

AUSC President's Office invitation to the Official Launching of the African Students' International Development Fund(ASIDF) and African Students' International Critical Thinkers Board (ASICTB).

Dear AUSC leaders, Advisors, Members and Friends

Good morning,

The Office of AUSC President wishes to invite wishing all AUSC Leaders to attend the special Launching for the African Students' International Development Fund (ASIDF) in collaboration with ECOBANK Group's new brand of Africa's Biggest Digital Launching on February 7,2017 ,at Kigali Convention Center (KCC) .

The event for Launching of ASIDF And ASICTB will take place  at Hill Top Hotel Kigali -Rwanda  on Friday March 31,2017, From 15:00' to 16:30',Kigali-Local Time.
The event is based on the officially publishing the ASIDF International BANK Account being officially started with the ECOBANK ” THE PAN-AFRICAN BANK” , reserved to accumulate contribution funds from ALL AUSC Offices from Worldwide .

Thus, Every AUSC Office wishing to contribute in the AUSC International Action Plan Activities will have to contribute annual Contribution funds equal to 10USD per Month or 120USD given once per Year, these annual contributions can be done using Bank Transfer System to the ASIDF Account that will be officially published for the first time on Friday March 31st, 2017 at Kigali Hilltop Hotel & Country Club.

The Contribution fees for Funding ASIDF from any AUSC Office have the purpose of sustaining the AUSC International Action Plan 2016-2019.

Therefore, as a reminder to all AUSC Regional, National and Diaspora Representatives’ Offices , to become members of African Students’ International Development Fund (ASIDF ) is mandatory .
Following the AUSC Constitution, to obtain  AUSC Membership, everyone has to provide annual membership fees of amount 120USD , while all appointed AUSC Leaders by the AUSC President’s Office or by any other authorized AUSC Office are not requested to provide any AUSC annual membership fees; however, if their Office has not yet got members to give membership fees , they can choose to contribute in ASIDF supporting their National Office to Complete at least the Annual Contribution Fund of 120USD to the ASIDF to support the AUSC International Action Plan Activities.

The Office of the President of the African Union Students' Council (AUSC)"For The Better Africa We Deserve " has been working for reaching all the corners of the Globe to reach the African Academicians and professional energetic and dynamic youth in Africa and African Diaspora .

Therefore,has successfully managed to be extended into big AUSC Divisions:

This means that our AUSC Family here is a property of all willing African and African rooted people young and old generations to be included inside the AUSC specified Divisions according to own wills .

Those divisions are mentioned as  :

1)AUSC-Economic Sciences Division ,which has emerged The African Students' International Development Fund(ASIDF),soon to raise the African Students' International Development Bank( ASIDB ).

While there are more  divisions which are:

2)AUSC-Political Sciences Division ,which has emerged the African Students' International Critical Thinkers Board (ASICTB)

3)AUSC-Social Sciences Division, which has developed the African Students' International Newsletters Board(ASINB) with a special initial Newsletter Named "THE AUSC ALIVE" the Newsletter which is soon going to be available online with its appropriate website for daily producing voices of African Students and professional Youth from Africa and Diaspora ,also including the AUSC Groups members opinions and Constructive chats and more current African and global news for effective media in this Division .

4)AUSC-Education Division ,which has emerged the International African Students' Education Loan Board(IASELB).

AUSC Ambassador in Nigeria with Students’ Creativity Exhibition 2017 at Nana Aisha College

 With Amb. Anas Sanusi Gusau the National Representative of AUSC Nigeria at a community school which he runs ‘‘Nana Aisha College’’ where he innovate a 
Students’ Creativity Exhibition 2017 the Extraordinary students of the school shown their talent, at the Students’ Creativity Exhibitions, whereby the students displayed their marvelous creative structures using their intellectual experience, which has greatly enhanced and developed their technical skills. Members of the media was present, which includes NTA and FM. and this their contributions to the state of emergency on education in Sokoto State, Nigeria
