Ahead of the Summit on September 20 - 21, 2024, the SDSN will host a high-level, two-day, "Pre-Summit of the Future Event" to inform outcomes of the Summit as part of its annual International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD). After careful deliberation and close coordination with key stakeholders, we have decided to reschedule the Summit to new dates in order to ensure the best possible experience for all participants.

After careful coordination with our strategic partners and government authorities, we have rescheduled the event to:

November 20th – 22nd, 2024                                 Location: Nairobi, Kenya

This decision follows consultations with our partners, including the Konza Technopolis Development Authority, the Ministry of ICT, and the Nairobi County Government. The rescheduling allows us to provide an even more comprehensive platform for advancing smart city innovations, partnerships, and investments across Africa. We understand that this adjustment may affect your plans, and we sincerely appreciate your flexibility. We are confident that the additional time will enable us to enhance the event, providing greater opportunities for learning, networking, and collaboration in line with our theme for this year.

The EABC is delighted to invite African Union Students' Council (AUSC)"For The Better Africa We Deserve" to participate in the Capacity-Building Workshop on Exporting to AfCFTA Market via E-Commerce Digital Platforms. This event is slated for 12^th -13^th September 2024 in Kigali, Rwanda. The workshop, supported by the Technical Assistance Facility to Support the AfCFTA and Continental Economic Integration (EU-TAF), will empower SMEs and Business Membership Organizations with the tools and knowledge needed to excel in exporting under the AfCFTA using digital platforms.
