You are invited to attend and participate in
‘Africa Talks Jobs’ – A continental dialogue on Equipping the Youth
with Adaptive Education and Skills for Employment from October 30 to November 1 2017 at the African Union Commission Conference Centre in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
As a platform for multi-stakeholder exchange with the aim to inform
policy making, ‘Africa Talks Jobs’ will bring together 300+ participants
–policy makers, the business sector, education institutions,
international partner organizations and youth. Participants and high
level representatives from AUC, EU and member states will discuss
effective approaches in education and skills development needed to bring
African youth into jobs.
In the lead up to the 5th AU-EU Summit in November 2017, concrete policy
recommendations for African-European cooperation with a focus on
successful approaches and partnerships in fostering youth employment and
entrepreneurship will be validated at the conference and presented at
the summit along with a pledge of commitment by the African business
community.
