New Imperialism

New Imperialism
AUSC President and Founder H.E IRAGUHA BANDORA Yves wishes to stop the new Scramble for AFRICA. September 15th , 2017.Kigali-Rwanda.
Scramble for Africa:

Dear readers, we are committed to stop the new scramble for Africa, and its is very important for our young generation of Africa mainly educated young Africans to understand what it means the Scramble for Africa, what is needed to be done to make every African know the new imperialism and what it took our ancestors to liberate the continent of Africa which made the only  inspiration point to this current  young generation made of us all . By its famous definition since long time ago, the "Scramble for Africa" was the occupation, division, and colonisation of African territory by European powers during the period of New Imperialism, between 1881 and 1914. It is also called the Partition of Africa and by some, the Conquest of Africa. In 1870, only 10 percent of Africa was under European control; by 1914 it had increased to almost 90 percent of the continent, with only Ethiopia (Abyssinia), the Dervish state (present-day Somalia) and Liberia still being independent.

The Berlin Conference of 1884, which regulated European colonization and trade in Africa, is usually referred to as the starting point of the scramble for Africa. Consequent to the political and economic rivalries among the European empires in the last quarter of the 19th century, the partitioning, or splitting up of Africa was how the Europeans avoided warring amongst themselves over Africa. The later years of the 19th century saw the transition from "informal imperialism" (hegemony), by military influence and economic dominance, to direct rule, bringing about colonial imperialism.

In this line, the AUSC President and Founder H.E IRAGUHA BANDORA Yves wishes to stop the new Scramble for AFRICA where introduced the most single simple way of training future leaders of AFRICA who are met everywhere in all African Villages at schools from Nursery school level to University level , AUSC is committed to have clubs of young educated Generation which has leaned the Struggle heritage of our continent of Africa based on history of African Continent and will be able to fight against any new scramble for Africa, however, Africans understands and will continue to live in an independent ways introducing new ways of living internationally with all friends of AFRICA and combating all enemies of AFRICA by stopping any new scramble for our Continent of AFRICA based on its young generations .

Therefore, African Union Students' Council (AUSC)"For The Better Africa We Deserve" is made scientifically and with serious focus on uniting African communities and finally uniting African Continent into one single Government starting from initiation of the All Afrikana Youth Congress where its first form is named 1st All Afrikana First Youth Congress (1st AAFYC 2017) and this will be followed by the 2nd All Afrikana Youth Congress in 2018 with the same purpose on  annual bases.
Best regards.

Subject: Fw: Re: HIM Selassie and PAM 2007/Re: [SelfHelpNews] RESPONSE: invitation and questions

Blessed Greetings Prof. Mammo Muchie;

Give thanks for your historical notes and Bro. Ephraim Isaac comments as well.
I had responded to the brethren below along with attachments.

Please share.

NB.. Just to make the record clearer if you do not mind..... The African unity vision  was best expressed by Africa must unite or perish.. please read the speech by our dearest brother Osayengefo Kwame Nkrumah. But OAU in  1963 did not implement African unity, nor is 2002 AU either! OAU-AU - sadly still  an organisation that retained the colonial division/borders instead of turning Africans to evolve as one human family with the rest  of the world not as strangers but our relatives!
In 1963 Kwame Nkrumah actually left the meeting and went to the airport. Emperor Haile Selassie with  Sekou Toure went to the airport and asked him to return to the meeting. Kwame Nkrumah out of respect of his elder brother Emperor Haile Selassie and Sekou Toure returned back to the meeting. The whole time when they agreed to establish the OAU, he sat silently crossing his hands. He was not happy that the OAU  did not buy into his vision to decolonise Africa with the unity of Africa!

I think without Emperor Haile Selassie's fatherly communication to all the groups..Monorovia, Casablanca and Brazzaville groups.. there would not have been an OAU

I thought I should let you know this my good pan-Afrikan brothers and sisters

Please try to attend to the 1st All Afrikana Youth Congress  from Ocrtober 15 to October 18, in Kigali, 2017!..

Please do! Remain blessed and keep strong!!!

warmest,
mammo

Subject: Re: HIM Selassie and PAM 2007/Re: [SelfHelpNews] RESPONSE: invitation and questions

Blessed Greetings Min. Menelik;

Kindly allow I to respond in this forum concerning Rastafari stance on the role of H.I.M. Emperor Haile Sellassie I as the Prime Mover for African Liberation and Africa Unity hence the forming of the O.A.U. on May 25th 1963.

In addressing Mandingo as well, I state without any apology that it was Emperor Haile Sellassie I who took the bold initiative to ensure that the OAU was formed by demanding (forcing)  the Leaders at that time to SIGN the AFRICAN CHARTER ! For the preservation  of history, I attached the presentation of the OAU in 1963 by Emperor Haile Sellassie I: “What we still lack, despite the efforts of past years, is the mechanism which will enable us to speak with one voice when we wish to do so and take and implement decisions on African problems when we are so minded. The commentators of 1963 speak, in discussing Africa, of the Monrovia States, the Brazzaville Group, the Casablanca Powers, of these and many more. Let us put an end to these terms.

What we require is a single African organization through which Africa’s single voice may be heard, within which Africa’s problems may be studied and resolved. We need an organization which will facilitate acceptable solutions to disputes among Africans and promote the study and adoption of measures for common defense and programmes for co-operation in the economic and social fields. Let us, at this Conference, create a single institution to which we will all belong, based on principles to which we all subscribe, confident that in its councils our voices will carry their proper weight, secure in the knowledge that the decisions there will be dictated by Africans and only by Africans and that they will take full account of all vital African considerations.”

Reflecting on the collective Speeches by the Emperor re The Rastaman Emancipation, because many may think that InI views of the Emperor is only through “Spiritual Eyes” as a Divine Being, at the Pan – African Summit in Jamaica, 2007 the emphasis was on the works the Emperor had done towards African Unity as He had address numerous Pan-African Conferences. I have also attached for All who are copied in this forum as a Gift, the Selected Speeches by Emperor Haile Sellassie I and implore Ones to read the Speeches under CHAPTER III - INTERAFRICA (pg. 188 -293).
The problems that were confronting African Leaders during the time of the OAU formation was the transformation towards African Countries Independence and how numerous Leaders were addressing these confrontations with former colonial powers and how to deal with them hence: THE RASTAMAN EMANCIPATION presentation; How African Leaders at that time should approach African Unity through INTERNATIONAL MORALITY & COLLECTIVE SECURITY.

What TRUE INDEPENDENCE really means:

January 26th 1960, Second Africa Conference:  We now have our destiny in our hands, but we must never slacken in our determination never to allow new forms of colonialism, whatever their guise may be, to take hold of any of us, in threat to the hard-won independence and, indeed to the stability and peace of the world….  Africans have committed no sin, unless the pursuit of independence and freedom from colonial oppression  is considered to be one…. Those who seek independence must be prepared to struggle for it rather than accept it; and, having won it, to stand on their own feet without dependence, and without favours.

May 25th 1963, O.A.U. Inauguration:  If we yield to blandishments or threats, if we compromise when no honourable compromise is possible, our influence will be sadly diminished and our prestige woefully prejudiced and weakened…. Having for so long known oppression, tyranny and subjugation, who, with better right, can claim for all the opportunity and the right to live and grow as free men?  Ourselves, for long decades, the victims of injustice, whose voices can be better raised in the demand for justice, and right for all?  We demand an end to colonialism because domination of one people by another is wrong.

The predicament that Africa finds Herself in today is because her Leaders at that time failed miserably in their integrity and morality, and COMPROMISED to the detriment of the Continent.

Today’s Leaders like Zimbabwe’s President Mugabe is being ISOLATED by the white world financially because he declares state ownership of the Country’s Assets:

February 2nd 1962, THE P.A.F.M.E.C.A. Conference: It is a historical fact that Ethiopia’s struggle against colonialism and imperialism has been a source of inspiration to all the coloured peoples of the world. This struggle of Ethiopia has earned her the active opposition of all the colonial powers who had systematically followed a policy of containing and ISOLATING Ethiopia from the rest of Africa.

Sounds familiar?
Because African Leaders at that time failed to attain Political Independence “without favors”, the Economic Independence of some/many Africa Countries for her African Peoples benefits were never achieved; only the wealth of those leaders dealing treacherously with neo-colonialism. Hence I reiterate, the richest Continent with assets of OIL; GOLD; DIAMOND; URANIUM; COBALT; FERTILE SOIL, ETC. is not transforming / providing her vast wealth to her Peoples. THIS IS MISMANAGEMENT! Who is to be blamed?

Africa Leaders at that time had to either compromise dishonorably, faced assassination, or stood triumphantly in isolation at the beginning:

September 3rd 1961, Belgrade Conference:  At the same time that we applaud the serpent of colonialism in breathing its last…. We must deal with the attempts being made from all quarters to perpetrate colonial exploitation under new forms and to introduce into our continents a new system no less inimical to freedom and liberty….  This is not a counsel of despair.  Our own life has demonstrated that WE ARE INCAPABLE OF DESPAIR.

Men will die in defense of principle; men will sacrifice their all rather than compromise themselves and renounce that which distinguishes them form the beasts… their moral faculty.  If this force in men can be awakened and focused on the problems of each day, we shall, GOD willing, survive each day to the dawn of each tomorrow, and in this survival, guarantee to our children and our children’s children a lifetime of peace and security, under justice and right, and under GOD.

Finally, because we all are looking towards African Unity en bloc, the precedence that were established for all to review to improve are the UNIA and OAU. So Rastafari will ALWAYS refer to Hon. Marcus Garvey and Emperor Haile Sellassie I as founding Leaders in the way that Min. Menelik now refers to President Khaddafi's Pan African work for today’s AU or United States of Africa.

I could not reference the OAAU since history clearly shows how Black Americans or African Americans fought Marcus Garvey’s Pan-African Vision/Mission – “Back to Africa”!

I believe I have clarified my position in our calling of Names re our African Heroes/Heroines. Rastafari as Pan-Africans will always work towards Repatriation and African Redemption / Re-development; And because the white world deliberately, premeditate to destroy the UNIA and infiltrate the Pan-African Movement on the Continent - neo-colonialism, in addition to past atrocities re colonialism and slavery, we will also demand Reparations and Compensation in pursuing the UN Durban Declarations.

Do full-joy Reading and Studying – THE SELECTED SPEECHES!

One Perfect Love!

WADU PAM 2007 RESPONSE:

In an era of fake news and mass deception and to ensure we are clear on our history and not further corrupt or confuse our people, I am responding to the issue of the below WADU PAM 107th Summit in Jamaica in 2007 regarding the role of Emperor Haile Selassie and more importantly the OAU in that Summit. Now, it is most encouraging for those in the Rastafari movement to be fully engaged in daily and Itinual spiritual communion with this great Ancestor. However, it is clear since the 1960's that the O---AU which was crafted from the long struggle of All African people was not sufficient then nor now against the colonial war on Africa because it appeased the comprador misleaders and colonialists at that time to serve the enemies by other means. This is the very reason why Malcolm X and others described it as an organization of African uncle toms and an arm to keep colonialism in Africa.

Mostly creatures (creation), these corrupt, fearful and so compromised misleaders then and now in the O-AU failed to fully grasp the gravity and determination of the enemies to win against Africans, even using other Africans to help in our decimation, like now. Therefore, Cuba, China, Russia, Jamaica, Guyana, Algeria, Egypt, and others had to come to our rescue from colonial chattel slavery and we are still enslaved because of own slave trained deficiency. Like today, we do not have enough discipline, loyalty and most importantly a committed core and corp of workers, activists and leaders who are astute in learning the lessons of history than becoming corrupt, wretched and dastardly blunderous in most of our actions. Nonetheless, then and now, we had to advance with the best of us and we did with WADUPAM while others were selling out. Though who were suppose to do right had dug a deeper hole for us over the last decade because of been too easily duped.

Indeed, when the 107th PAM Summit was very historic launched in Jamaica in 2007, and was  was to fortify the renewed call for this Union Government in Africa... from Blyden, to Garvey, to Nkrumah... to Sankara, to Khaddafi. Kwame Ture said colonial slavery has traumatize our mental and psychological state to learn and so we must study more and so let me repeat... PAM Summit was not focused on Selassie nor even Nkrumah nor Garvey... but to advance the O---AU from what Nkrumah initiated and Selassie established,  to finally create a GOVERNMENT. We must establish a Government, not another organization to feel good as the OAU made us for about a year. As you and others should have read, learned or heard, it became an organization of the corrupt, the compradors and of our disunity. Even though it was accepted as the best we could do at that point, we must use every breath and window of opportunity to move the ball forward into the goal of a Union Government and the 2007 Summit was the best effort since the 21st century, but African people were not ready because of mass distractions and deceptions.

Consequently, though Emperor Selassie was highlighted in Jamaica by PAM-WADU in every way, some wanted it to be only on Selassie, it was not about Emperor Selassie or even other Pan African historic personalities. As a matter of fact, several organizations were attempting to hijack the PAM in 2007 to focus it instead on Garvey, Selassie, Reparations... etc. but we had to be adamant that it was a critical necessity of ensuring that this historic gathering was used to push for a Government with Khaddafi's Pan African work... for a United States of Africa then. Personally, I did not have to accede to these narrow agenda because my family has shouldered the African struggle for centuries, from the Maroons, post-colonial development and even the promotion of the Rastafari Movement and so I did not come begging but as a humble but fierce force for pan African Nationalism now to be realized in Africa.

Apparently, some due to self-interests in factionalism, individualism, denominationalism, separatism... failed to study and see the bigger picture for our Summit Jamaica in 2007. Thus, even when Brath warned us here in the USA, Africa and in the Caribbean of the re-colonial war afoot, we could not mentally register the danger ahead. We could not see Africom rising to conquer Africa using the deceptive HIV/AIDS money to bribe Africans. Thereafter, almost 100 percent of Africans failed to see the re-colonial agenda even when Obama was invading Africa in 2011. Therefore, with such woefully poor leadership, scholarship and follow-ship in Africa and the Diaspora, we are being destroyed because of lack of wisdom... and who can overlook that we can blame the “devilish slave” syndrome imprinted in our psyche. But I would point to us that our greatest deficiency is not having enough true and unconditional love for each other... but must be achieved sooner than later, or Perish. Min. Menelik

Greetings Family
May the spirit of our Ankhcestors continue to find us and family in good health?

Prophet Greg- Very interesting observation, - Iperson can only deduce that many of the individuals who never mention His Imperial Majesty name and how he helped to create Reggae  through groups/individuals  such as Toots & the Maytals/Jimmy Cliff/ The/Wailers ..as well as the most successful Pan Afrikan Conference of 1945-  could be  some of the same individuals who did not care when Ras Tafari men women children and babies people being hunted and murdered by the  Jamaican State in the 1950's-  yet they now profess to know the fullness- the same ones who big up themselves as 'Jamaicans' 'Afrikans'- without realizing that Ras Tafari is complete and total Pan Afrikan community in every facet , those same individuals who disparate his Name; yet today directly and indirectly benefit from the Ras Tafari community efforts to strengthen and bring together the global Afrikan family.

Iperson have come across many of these ‘intellectuals /academics’ 'commentators' and armchair 'revolutionists' the same ones who accused HIM of cowardice, running away from the enemy, making deals with Europe, taking millions of funds to live a lavish life style in UK- the same ones who claim that the Hon Marcus Garvey had a dispute with HIM, yet rarely state that Hon Excellency Amy Garvey was present as one of the delegation that met HIM when he arrived in UK in 1936.

Then there are those individuals who seek to use the Ras Tafari community for religious purposes and business, when to the best of my knowledge Ras Tafari is a revolutionary order, non-religious - an ancient order in line with the Ancient spiritual practices of Kermit/Nubia/Ethiopia/.( because many adherents have yet to study and know this to be a fundamental fact, rather than reliance on the what the Vatican produced regardless of name brand, Torah, Bible or Koran))

The other and perhaps vital fact is that many of the naysayers have never been warriors/soldiers; therefore cannot be expected to be aware of war strategies the enemies use to conquer nations.

Iperson is 100% clear in my mind that there should be no acquiescence at this stage of ‘victory of good over evil’ due to grudges, petty minded attitudes or partiality amongst some of family members along the lines of which Afrikan did  this or did that; when in actual fact all of them regardless of the magnitude of their contributions to our struggles, must realize we all stand on all of their shoulders both male and females , to be able to affirmatively, irrefutable create a ‘Union of Afrikan  States’ in a generation .

We cannot and must not allow any derailment by being distracted, censored or fake divisions; we cannot allow any gaps to be left unattended.   Our ‘enemies’ the old ( 1885 berlin conference) and new scramblers ( 1960’s) of Afrika  would like very much to see us once again being divided along ‘tribal’ lines- something our posterity will not forgive that type of nebulous activity.

‘Africa is the richest continent in the world, and still have the poorest people’- it’s not poor our brother –it simple poorly managed.
Remember: ‘It is not the strength, power, determination of those who seek to undermine us that will succeed, but rather our lack of Unity’ H.I.M.

 Love and Light

WADU 10th Anniversary Pre-Summit Forum to Revive United States of Africa

GA – The World African Diaspora Union (WADU) will convene its 10th anniversary Pre-Summit forum focusing on the state of the United States of Africa on July 29, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia. The July 29 meeting will serve as a preparatory forum for WADU 10th anniversary Summit which will coincide with the anniversary of the 5th Pan African Congress at the end of October, 2017 in Florida, for the relaunching the United States of Africa agenda.

WADU was first initiated in 2003 by Baba Elombe Brath, who called for a new Diaspora Pan African front to stop the re-colonization of Africa and support the AU initiative for a United States of Africa. After consultations with Baba Brath and Dr. Ndugu T’Ofori-Atta, Min. Menelik was able to merge both Brath’s call to action with Dr. Atta’s 1965 RHAW Pan African project at the Atlanta University Center (HBCU) in Georgia. By 2007, with Min. Menelik serving as its Chief Organizer, WADU was officially launched in Kingston, Jamaica under the direct guidance of Ambassador Dudley Thompson.

July was pushed by Min. Menelik to coincide with the anniversary of the 1900 PAC, influenced by key leaders of the 19th  century including Emperor Menelik who had defeated Italy. Other major supporters at the Summit were Baba Elombe Brath, Nana Farika Berhane, Dr. Leonard Jeffries, Baba Akbar Muhammad and others representing major Pan African organizations and formations.  The Summit was mainly funded by Menelik, Baba Atta and Baba Watusi Branch and other donations were made by a wide representation of African people.

At the founding of WADU under Dr. Atta, Minister Menelik was serving as the Assistant Director to Dr. Ndugu T’Ofori-Atta. A Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Fellow of distinction, Atta had lived a full life promoting Pan Africanism and African liberation theology in the Congo, Africa and had directly supported the founding of OAU during his tenure as a priest and instructor in Africa. He has had a great impact on Africa, especially helping to shape major giants in the Pan African Movement such as Rev. Dr. Wyatt Tee Walker and Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright to muster the religious community to liberate Africa. Baba Brath came from a Garveyite family and served at the forefront of the Pan African Movement in liberating Africa. By the 1990’s, Menelik was advised by Baba Brath on Africa policy issues when he served at the American Committee on Africa under President Dr. Walker. Both Dr. Walker and Dr. Atta are MLK Jr. Fellows.

In marking the 10th anniversary of WADU, we will convene a forum in July 2017 designed to re-ignite WADU after protracted attempts have been made to undermine it and other Pan African organizations, including the African Union, by the forces of imperialism for the re-colonization of Africa and other progressive nations. Second, it is an attempt to clarify the current state of the African Union, Africa and its Diaspora after the 2017 Summits in Ethiopia and U.S. relations with Africa. Finally, the meeting will project ways to move WADU and the Pan African Movement forward to revive the Garvey-Nkrumah Plan for a United States of Africa at a time when Africa and Africans are under major assaults across the world.

In addition to WADU focusing on the United States of Africa at the Summit in Florida, we will also push for the greater integration of the Diaspora across the Americas with Africa and press for the ending of embargo against Cuba. With the degeneration of Africa, it is imperative to strengthen Cuba and CARICOM. Consequently, we are urging all dedicated Africans to participate or support the upcoming anniversary pre-summit in Atlanta and the United States of Africa Summit in October 2017. We need your support because without a Union Government, Africans are doomed to further enslavement. For more information, please contact us at 404-822-2049 or wadupam@aol.com.

The IAM Ubuntu led the organizing of the African Diaspora as a Pan African sacred force starting in 1999 by pulling together some of the most powerful leaders like Freedom Fighter Baba Elombe Brath, with the High Priest MLK Fellow Dr. Ndugu T'Ofori-Atta, and later, even the "legendary" Ambassador Dudley Thompson to create WADU. The mission is to support the AU united states of Africa AU government. WADU has since led the way, but with Africa under siege and the hijacking of major global organizations through weapons of mass deceptions, threats, lies and bribes, we must redouble our efforts to save ourselves. We are urging you who are sacred to join IAMU or any other with the authentic Pan African spiritual force essential to reinforcing the Pan African Movement. Family, the current situation calls for Pan African repatriation teams for the building of the All Afrikan government for our "second liberation" as called by Baba Brath (2005) and recently by Baba Mugabe. Minister Menelik of IAMU/Co-Founder WADU

Do our African youth know where they have been; do they also know where they are now and indeed where they are going?  If they want to know, they should look back and revive the neglected positive history to draw lessons to facilitate their journey to unite Africa now. Such historical moments, provide the opportunity to reflect, on how they can re-educate themselves, to move forwards and upwards by avoiding embarking on the wrong journey towards making a free and well-being anchored Africa future for all.
The Male and Female genders between 05 - 35 years, are defined as youth in Africa. The youths in Africa are the majority and constitute about 65 % of the African population. About 70% of the African youth are said to be living in the rural areas.Studies attest that a rich supply and source of Africa’s labour force are the youths. According to the African Economic Outlook, approximately 72 % of African youth subsist daily on less than $ 2.00 a day.  As a whole, in Africa 60% of the unemployed population are the youths. Unemployment rates vary regionally.  In Sub-Sahara Africa, unemployed youth constitute 40%. Youth unemployment rates are twice the number of adult unemployment in most African countries. Even in South Africa, a country that is perceived to be the leading African country economically, youth unemployment is estimated as high as 54 %. Instead of all the youths in Africa being educated, we are on the contrary faced with a high number of uneducated youths. Majority of the graduates in Africa do not get jobs. There is a skills mismatch in getting job, because the skills attained by graduates do not relate to the employer’s needs. So, the education systems need to evolve a skills matching with job creation and job filling directions.
The African Union Student Council (AUSC) has a definite role by reaching all youths and creating the ways to make sure all African youth are educated. With the proper education they can have a decent, free, independent, well anchored and promising livelihood wherever they are in Africa. The African youths should live sustainably by achieving a life full of productive employment, decent work. This process requires the fostering of inter-African collaboration amongst all the stakeholders including governments, education institutions, businesses, investors, industries, civil society and communities. The power of the African youth must be unlocked to create an Africa that can use its rich resources to make all its inhabitants have descent work throughout their lives.
Just as the African liberation effort started with the series of Pan-African congresses, the AUCS has resolved to start a new journey to create a vibrant African youth that is inspired and driven by creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. So to realize this vision, like food and water, all African youth must be educated. The African continent must appreciate education is not just a means to life, but it is life itself. AUSC aims to reach African youths by initiating the first ALL-AFRIKANA YOUTH CONGRESS. The main mission is to bring youths to know each other, network and learn to be “Africans first”. AUCS aims to  create a strong Africa that is full of agency to make the wellbeing of all its people a priority of priorities and Africa’s natural environment as sustainable, a clean climate and friendly forever.
The 5th Pan-African Congress on October 15-21 in 1945, created a “paradigm shift” to resist colonialism by any necessary means. Similarly, we at AUCS, would like to organise the first All Afrikana Youth Congress to be held in October 15, 2017 in Kigali, Rwanda. Together with the partners, including stakeholders such as Governments, universities, businesses, civil society and communities will make the African youth forever vibrant, highly educated, productive, spirited and energetic force to contribute in the making of Africa strong, proud, free and independent.
All the African youth without exception must be educated. Education is for all Africans and no different from food and water. The youths must grow by learning and behaving as “Africans first and foremost”. They must not degrade themselves to ethnicity and tribes that colonialists cynically established to divide and rule. The colonial division still plagues Africa for her resources and continue to be robbed. Every year, six times more resources go out of Africa than it gets. It is to be remembered that Africa is a donator not a beggar. Africa is casted as caged in a loan, dependent on aid, debt ridden, and donation dependent and in the begging trap. This situation has to be changed by stopping the resources that flow out with illicit financing and corruption. Moreover, the returned resources should be used to help African youths to be fully employed and productive.  It is said earlier, that the youths are still the primary labour force in Africa. So, every young person must be educated without exception, so that energetic, creative, innovative, entrepreneurial, committed youths can be build and nurtured to transform Africa once and for all. This youth population will make Africa as a continent to contribute towards saving humanity with its deep and rich philosophy of “Ubuntu” and the humane associational values and principles.
The youths must re-imagine Africa with the capacity to innovate, sense of unity and renaissance.  The youth must promote pan-African unity that means African agency will not be delayed.  Without unity, no African agency, no African renaissance will happen. African unity is critical to realise the full synergy of political and economic independence.  This unity must have been yesterday; but let the failure to unite yesterday be a commitment to stop delaying African unity and renaissance anymore. Let’s do it today. The youth have to be the unifier game changers and change-makers. The Pan-African Federation hopes to realise this unity in the next 30 years and not as the AU hopes in 2063.The AUSC may be able to mobilise the youth to accelerate African unity without fail every day.
There have been a few recent efforts in this regards. In South Africa, the African Unity for renaissance conferences was initiated in 2010. (http://www.africanunionsc.org/2016/10/call-for-abstracts-7th-african-unity.html). Beside this, we also have initiated the Pan-African Talent initiative (PATI). Its main purpose is to turn Africa as the talent and innovation hub of the world. Africa should be the talent destination, and not as the talent departure zone of the world. Talent retention, talent gain, talent reverse migration must be promoted. This process incorporating all the stakeholders, particularly the private and corporate world. They must contribute substantially to raise funds to promote employable talented graduates in the training process to avoid the current unacceptable skills mismatch. The PATI Returning Talent Fund (RTF) is established to raise funds.   The first inaugural conference for PATI-RTF was held in Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria (www.pati-global.com) with the participation of private sector, students, professors and government. The conference aimed to create sustainable collaboration to promote talent gain in and for Africa. Now The Africa Talent Hub Community Interest Company has been established to mobilise resources to enable, empower and entitle the African education to become creators, innovators and entrepreneurs.
We have also started the Afrikana post-graduate academy (AGPA) to create high quality post-graduates across Africa. The academy held twice a year invited masters and doctoral researchers on the research methodology and quality writing skills.
There is the African Entrepreneurship Award (AEA) transcending borders and getting the young people to create in the uncharted ideas and new solutions by creating new firms. The Award is a pan-African, stimulating in the 54 states over 2000 entrepreneurial businesses. AEA is a true motivator and inter-African youth mobility generator. (https://africanentrepreneurshipaward.com/impressions-from-south-africa-aea-visits-tut/)
We have also opened an education platform for African unity and renaissance (AUR) for an integrated development. (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1046983685329854/). The AUR conference aimed to make the world aware that the contribution of Africa to the world is rich. This platforms advocates the education of Africans using the current e-learning outlets to reach all.
A new approach to generate positive understanding of Africa by challenging the current dominance of portraying Africa as a passive participant in the creation of knowledge is much needed. Africa has contributed a lot though not recognized and appreciated and will no doubt continue to contribute hugely to the rest of the world. The knowledge, struggle and spiritual narratives that are negative must be surpassed and the excavation of Africa’s rich contributions from the past to the present as the foundation for the future must be done without fail. There is a need to spread education using a variety of e-learning platforms.
Let the African youth, learn the power of networking and togetherness with trust and confidence to overcome all the problems Africa has now. The youth are the problem solvers today and should make sure there is no problem for Africa tomorrow.
